Description from the seller
For collectors and sector experts, an iconic Commodore Amiga 1200 is offered, a piece of 1990s personal computing history and today one of the most sought-after machines in the world.
Finding a complete specimen with its irreplaceable original period packaging with the original graphics is an extremely rare opportunity on the market.
The machine has undergone maniacal care before it went on sale: it has been completely dismantled, dusted, and cleaned in meticulous detail both inside and out. Every single key on the keyboard has been removed, washed, and sanitized individually to guarantee an excellent aesthetic and an impeccable user experience.
The computer has been tested in the essential boot, audio, and video areas. The video signal was tested with a special dedicated cable that connects to the Amiga’s 23-pin RGB video port and terminates with a stereo SCART plug and RCA audio jack (included in the sale).
With this cable the screen image is extraordinary, stable, sharp, and with perfect 32-bit colors, plus clear stereo audio. The original RF antenna cable is also included; on modern digital TVs and monitors the vintage analog frequency is not picked up by the tuner, but the provided RGB/SCART output remains the exemplary and professional choice for using the machine.
Included is an era-appropriate Activision “The Music Studio” floppy disk (distributed by CTO/Commodore). When inserted, the internal floppy drive boots from Workbench and begins reading, loading the interface. During the loading of the audio file, the system warning “read error on disk block 1752” is shown; being a vintage magnetic medium from almost 40 years ago, it’s entirely normal for some disk blocks to be demagnetized or degraded over time, while the drive responds promptly to read commands and mechanics.
The sale includes the Commodore Amiga 1200 console, the original period box, the original “heavy duty” power supply, the RGB-to-SCART video cable with RCA audio outputs, the original boxed mouse also fully functional, and the floppy disk with the aforementioned program.
A item intended for demanding collectors, ready to display or use.

Shipping note (from collector to collector!)
I care a great deal that items arrive perfectly, intact, and ready to use. Because I do this with passion for many years, I handle every shipment with maximum precision and transparency to fully protect the integrity of the purchase. These are my guiding points:
Secure Packaging: I pack every single item I ship as if I were receiving it for my own personal collection. For this reason I never skimp on packing materials. Each item is individually protected with multiple layers of high-thickness bubble wrap, sealed and placed inside rigid, reinforced cardboard boxes. Any empty spaces are filled with cushioning materials (polystyrene, air cushions, or heavy-duty packing paper) to prevent any internal movement during transport.
Total Traceability: The phases of functionality verification (with the serial number highlighted) and the entire packing preparation are fully video-recorded without interruptions, up to the final sealing of the package. All video documentation is kept in my archives and, in case of transport anomalies or disputes, will be made readily available to the platform’s verification and checks service.
Tamper-Evident Seal: Each electronic or collectible item is bearing a numbered tamper-evident seal before shipment. In case of return (as provided by platform terms), the item must be shipped back with the seal perfectly intact.
