Made in precious Italian resin, brown spotted and silver, the pen design features a clip that reproduces one of the universal symbols of philosophy. The cap band – in silver – is engraved with Pythagoras' profile on the front and the motto: "Learn to be silent. Let your mind, still, listen and learn" on the back. At the top of the cap there is set a coin depicting an owl, the symbol of philosophy, considered so by Hegel in the nineteenth century.
