AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Collection Ancient Italian Cities: Paestum
Marlen dedicates this collection to Paestum, one of the largest Greek cities on the Tyrrhenian coast in Magna Graecia, known especially for its excavations—famous for the three magnificent Doric temples, believed to be dedicated to Poseidon (known to the Romans as Neptune), Hera and Ceres.
The collection features a specially designed silver clip that reproduces the splendor of ancient marble columns. The body and cap are handmade, in brown Italian resin. The large silver ring on the shaft reproduces a detail from the Neptune temple mosaic. The silver ring on the cap bears the (purported) founding dates of this city. The cap head is made of lava stone, a touch of elegance that makes this collection truly perfect.
