Length: 11.9 cm
Diameter: 1.1 cm
Nib: EF (extrafine), rigid, 14-karat gold engraved "Sheaffer's Lifetime"
Period: 1930s
Materials: body and cap of speckled black, cream and amber celluloid; ball clip and cap ring gold-plated; nib of 14-karat gold; feed made of ebonite. Cap with screw closure. On the body retains the original engraving "W.A. Sheaffer Pen Co. - Fort Madison, Iowa, U.S.A. - Pat. D. 78,795".
Condition: good overall for its age. The celluloid retains its shine and the engravings read clearly; shows signs of use typical of the era, with small superficial scratches and the pearlescent of the body slightly ambered, somewhat natural and highly sought after in this celluloid. The cap ring plating shows light wear. The nib is aligned and in good condition, with no bends or visible breaks. The functioning of the filling system has not been tested.
Extras: only the loose piece; box or papers are not visible in the photos.
