AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Marlen Collection: Leonardo's Harmony
Marlen dedicates this collection to the famous representation that Leonardo da Vinci gave of the ideal proportions of the human body, universally known as the Vitruvian Man. Through this pen-and-ink drawing, Leonardo shows how the human body can be harmoniously positioned within the two “perfect” figures of the circle, representing the Universe, and the square, representing the Earth. The man comes into contact with the two figures in a completely proportional manner, symbolizing the perfect nature of human creation in tune with Earth and the Universe.
The collection created by the Marlen designers has a body made of turned black casein, details in turned Italian resin. The rings are engraved copper. The cap is made of turned Italian resin with a clip in silver and bronze and rings in casein and copper.
