AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present to you the Marlen Risorgimento Collection
Risorgimento was the political and social movement that brought together several states of the Italian peninsula into the single state of Italy in the 19th century. On March 17, 1861, Victor Emmanuel II was proclaimed King of Italy. Marlen honors this important historical period in the same year as the celebrations for the 150th anniversary of Italian Unification, with a limited edition dedicated to the Risorgimento.
This fountain pen was made in Italian resin, with large relief-decorated bands in silver, reproducing the meeting between Giuseppe Garibaldi and Victor Emmanuel. The clip is in 925 silver, with a bronze medallion depicting the silhouette of Italy.
