To further refine the tone, it features an independent 3-band EQ for each channel, making the range of possible sounds almost infinite.
50 watts of EL34-powered power

The JVM205H head is built with a classic all-tube design and is based on a four-tube ECC83 preamp with an additional ECC83 phase splitter to provide ample gain reserves for the hottest high-gain sounds on the OD channels.
In the power amplifier, two EL34 pentodes deliver up to 50 watts for practice and stage use.

Extensive connectivity for effects, recording, and MIDI

The Marshall JVM205H’s extensive connectivity for rehearsal, studio, and stage demonstrates that it can be used in any application. The rear panel not only provides speaker outputs for 4, 8 or 16 ohms, but also two usable effects loops.
These allow chaining effects pedals between the preamp and power amp, making delay and modulation effects especially effective. Additionally, all JVM205H footswitch controls can be MIDI-controlled, while the XLR emulated output line also enables silent recording.
