Mara. J XL - Rhodonite Hedge

An intense and luminous pink fills the upper part of the canvas, dense with overlapping leaves that seem to vibrate in the light. Descending, among the rosy shapes appear dark silhouettes, increasingly present, that open the passage downward. At the base the color gathers into deep reds and burgundies, brightened by small vermilion fragments. Thin green stems rise from the bottom, discreet, crossing the layers. The surface is textured, built up from impressions of vegetation and glazes. From it arises a warm and vibrant image, where the rosy light rests with gentleness on a rich and deep earth.
