This lot consists of 4 photos from my Steel Illusions series, in a limited edition. The size of the photos is 30x30 cm. These photos are offered in other formats and editions. The total number of views of the same image will never exceed 30.
The images in this series concern this non-existent reality; the images are manipulated. By adjustments in color, removing context, and cropping, familiarity and identity disappear, and lines, patterns, and form remain. A picture emerges without a visual reference, in a world between reality and abstraction.
The photos are printed on Fujifilm Digital Professional DP II Lustre paper with a very fine surface texture and with a white border around them, and are therefore very suitable and easy to frame.
The photos are supplied with a certificate of authenticity and a label with the artist’s signature on the back of the photo.
The photos are carefully packaged in bleached white tissue paper and flat-packed between 2 layers of cardboard.
