Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch From the Moon to Mars, reference 35775000 (3577.50.00), manual-wind movement, 42 mm stainless steel case with a steel bracelet, new old stock and never worn with the original box, papers and warranty, produced around 2002 in the 2000–2010 period, shipped insured within Europe.
Description from the seller
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch (From the Moon to Mars) ref. 35775000 in brand-new, never-worn condition, still with the sticker underneath as shown in the photo. Complete with box and official full-set warranty. The Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch "From the Moon to Mars" (ref. 3577.50.00) is a numbered edition. Each piece bears its own progressive serial number on the case back. Because Omega does not officially disclose production data for these numbered series, there is no 100% definitive figure. However, experts and the collector community estimate that during its entire production run (about 2004 to 2012) roughly 6,000 pieces were made. The Omega Speedmaster Professional "From the Moon to Mars" was introduced in 2004 at Baselworld. The watch was produced to celebrate and commemorate NASA's new space exploration plans announced at that time. In early 2004, in fact, the United States government had proclaimed a new and ambitious vision for the future of aerospace, which included: the return of humans to the Moon with the construction of a permanent space base, using the lunar outpost as a fundamental launching pad for future crewed missions to Mars. Omega, closely tied to NASA since the Apollo missions of 1969, paid homage to this ideal “space relay” by customizing the Moonwatch dial: the three traditional chronograph sub-dials actually feature photorealistic depictions of Earth, the Moon, and Mars, graphically symbolizing the planned journey to the Red Planet. Please note that this model, being a New Old Stock, currently has a value much higher than a similar used watch; this specimen, in my opinion, is a unique find on the web and represents a sure investment for Omega collectors. I reiterate that it is virtually impossible to find in new condition. Shipping is tracked and insured. I do not ship outside Europe.
