Federico Patellani - Maria Callas

This is an interesting photograph dated 1957 by the renowned Lombard photographer Federico Patellani, regarded as one of the greatest Italian photographers of the 20th century.
The image was taken in the Milanese home of singer Maria Callas, then married Meneghini, and depicts the opera singer with her inseparable black poodle Toy in her arms.
On the back we find, of course, the photographer's stamp, the old stamp from the 1950s, and the English sheet with the descriptive caption.
A distinctive photograph of a great artist, rare in its subject and well described on the back, also with numerous handwritten notes from the era.
Fair overall condition, small creases and a small tear on the upper edge, format 30x19.7 cm.
