Montblanc StarWalker Rubber & Metal rollerball fineliner with a black rubber grip and platinum-plated grid detailing, made in Germany in the late 20th century, 12 cm long and 1.2 cm in diameter, serial HR1461642, in excellent working order with an original refill included.
Description from the seller
We present at auction a refined and modern writing instrument: the Montblanc rollerball / fineliner belonging to the iconic StarWalker collection, here offered in the sought-after exclusive Rubber version (black rubber-coated body with grille-plated details).
The barrel and cap of this model stand out for a special black rubber surface, infused with a distinctive geometric grille pattern defined by lines in finely platinum-plated metal. The unmistakable feature of this line is the transparent top dome, inside which the famous Montblanc white star emblem floats in suspension, perched above the upper ring finely engraved with the brand’s lettering. The shots showing the instrument disassembled confirm the perfect structural integrity of the internal threads and the presence of an original refill inserted inside the barrel.
The conservation status of this specimen is classified as in excellent general condition, maintaining full mechanical functionality and a splendid overall aesthetic. In strict observance of our policy of total transparency and as clearly evidenced in the macro close-up photographic documentation, only a slight superficial scratch on the transparent dome at the summit of the cap is noted, accompanied by very light and physiological signs of use on the metal deriving from careful prior use that in no way compromise the elegance of the object.
