Description from the seller

The Montblanc PIX No. 26 is a classic mechanical pencil from the 1960s, representing the clean, understated design of Montblanc’s two-digit writing instruments of the period. It features a black resin body with gold-plated trim, the white Montblanc emblem set into the push button and a precise repeater mechanism for 1.18 mm lead. The substantial internal metal mechanism gives the pencil a reassuringly solid feel despite its slim proportions, while the broad 1.18 mm lead provides the distinctive writing character associated with vintage mechanical pencils of this era. With its elegant black-and-gold appearance, robust construction and characteristic PIX mechanism, the No. 26 is an appealing example of Montblanc’s mid-century mechanical pencils.

The pen is in very good, pre-owned condition, and has been carefully cleaned. Imperfections: light marks, slight plating issue near the tip.
