Conde Hermanos 1989 Flamenco Guitar – Exceptional Flamenca Blanca from Madrid

A wonderful opportunity to acquire an outstanding Conde Hermanos Flamenco Guitar from 1989 – a beautiful instrument with exceptional sound, remarkable playability and a fascinating history.

For generations, the name Conde Hermanos has been associated with some of the finest flamenco guitars made in Spain. The legendary Madrid workshop established a reputation for instruments with extraordinary power, immediate response and the unmistakable character that has made Conde guitars so desirable among flamenco players worldwide.

This beautiful example from 1989 captures exactly those qualities.

Built in the traditional Flamenca Blanca style, the guitar features a carefully selected spruce top combined with cypress back and sides. This classic Spanish combination produces the lively, dry and percussive sound that flamenco guitarists appreciate so much.

And the sound of this particular instrument is truly fantastic!

The basses are powerful and punchy, while the trebles are brilliant, clear and wonderfully expressive. Every note responds immediately, with the characteristic attack and definition that make a great Conde Hermanos such an exciting instrument to play.

Whether performing fast picado passages, powerful rasgueados or delicate falsetas, this guitar delivers an impressive combination of projection, clarity and musical sensitivity.

One of its greatest highlights is the outstanding playability.

With a 650 mm scale length and a 52 mm nut width, the guitar offers traditional Spanish dimensions. The string action is beautifully adjusted to approximately 2.7 mm on the low E and just 2.1 mm on the high e at the 12th fret.

This excellent, low flamenco action makes the instrument exceptionally comfortable and responsive. Fast passages feel effortless, and the guitar reacts beautifully even to the lightest touch.

The condition is another particularly attractive feature.

This Conde Hermanos spent many years as part of a private collection and has essentially remained unplayed. As a result, it is in very good condition, especially considering its age.

A few years ago, the previous owner decided to have the finish refreshed. This work was carried out to a very high professional standard, giving the instrument a beautiful appearance while preserving its character.

The guitar combines the charm and musical personality of a high-end Spanish guitar with the excellent playability and well-preserved condition that players and collectors appreciate.
