Moretti - Pipe - dead

Brand-new, never-smoked morta pipe from Moretti in Italy.

Smooth finish, no filter, large model with a very deep smoking chamber.

Morta, bog oak or swamp oak, is a very special, rare and difficult-to-work-with wood species. Hence it is so uncommon in the pipe world, although it is extremely suitable for smoking. It is very hard, tough and your tobaccos will not leave any flavor behind; morta pipes don’t ‘ghost’, just like meerschaum.

Morta is fossilized oak, and is usually between seven and ten thousand years old!
