Montegrappa - Montegrappa Paulo Coelho Limited Edition - Fountain pen

A0000004725

The pen is presented in very good overall condition, standing out for excellent preservation both aesthetically and functionally. The body in black resin maintains a deep, uniform shine, with no cracks or structural defects, showing only light micro-scratches consistent with very moderate use.

The silver-plated metal structures preserve much of their original shine, with the engravings perfectly defined. There are slight signs of use in the form of fine micro-scratches and a soft patina in certain areas, especially in reliefs and edges, something common in this type of piece and which does not in any way detract from its presence.

The decorative elements, including the green inlays, are intact and well integrated. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment, and the screw-closing system functions smoothly and precisely.

The 18K gold nib is in excellent condition, with no deformations, guaranteeing smooth writing. The pen has been serviced and is delivered fully operational.

The limited numbering (0152/1000) is clearly visible, reinforcing its character as a collectible piece.
It should be noted that the pen comes with its original Montegrappa case, documentation and papers, as well as additional set elements, which considerably increase its value and appeal to collectors.

Overall, this is a very well-preserved, complete example ready for use or collection, with a high-level aesthetic presence.
Conservation recommendations:

Use high-quality fountain pen inks, avoid pigmented inks, clean with warm water if not used for a while, dry before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the mechanism gently.

Happy bidding!
