German-made Montblanc Meisterstück Solitaire Ceramics Black Prisma fountain pen with ceramic cap, steel body and 18k gold nib, dating from 2000 to 2010.
Description from the seller
A0000004721
The pen is presented in an overall excellent condition, showing a very carefully preserved level consistent with minimal or sporadic use.
The black ceramic cap with a prismatic pattern maintains an immaculate appearance, with uniform shine and no material losses, cracks, or noticeable dents. The edges of the design retain their original definition, reinforcing the sense of a well-preserved piece.
The platinized body looks clean and shiny, with only very light superficial micro-scratches attributable to very light handling, practically imperceptible to the naked eye and in no way affecting its aesthetics or functionality.
The metal elements — clip and rings — are in very good condition, with crisp engravings and no relevant wear. The clip maintains proper tension and alignment.
The 18K gold nib is in excellent condition, with no visible deformations, intact iridium and clean feed. The pen has been inspected and tested, ensuring a correct ink flow and smooth writing, in accordance with Montblanc standards.
The filling system works correctly.
The original Montblanc box is included, which adds value to the set and enhances its presentation and preservation.
Overall, this is a very well-preserved piece, ready for immediate use or addition to a collection.
Conservation recommendations: It is advisable to use high-quality ink specific for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a period, dry completely before storing, keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures, and operate the filling system gently to preserve its proper functioning.
