Manuel Rodriguez - - Classical guitar - Spain

This magnificent guitar bears the seal of the prestigious Manuel Rodríguez firm, internationally recognized for its artisanal tradition and mastery in guitar making since 1905. Founded in Madrid and with a strong link to the history of Spanish luthiery, the brand has deep historical roots; in fact, Manuel Rodríguez Sr. himself trained and worked alongside legendary figures such as the workshops of José Ramírez, absorbing the knowledge and art of the Madrid traditional school. This particular specimen was made in Europe (Spain) approximately between 2010 and 2015, during a period of excellent maturity and careful craftsmanship of the house.

This is a 100% solid hardwood instrument, ensuring that the wood will continue to improve and open its sound over the years.

Top (soundboard): Made from solid German spruce, a highly select wood that provides an immediate acoustic response and great projection.
Back and sides (bouts): Crafted from solid European flame maple, with great aesthetic beauty and wavy grain, an exclusive wood that gives the instrument a strong visual personality.

Neck and fretboard: The neck is built from Spanish cedar with high stability, incorporating an elegant central ebony reinforcement strip. The fretboard is also solid Gabon ebony, maximum density and durability, ensuring a smooth and professional playability.

Thanks to the combination of German spruce with flame maple, this guitar offers a powerful, clean, and bright sound, with excellent note separation and enviable clarity. The instrument is generally in excellent condition, very well cared for.

Note on condition: It presents a small superficial blemish on the lower part of the soundboard (visible in the photos) that affects only the varnish; it is a purely aesthetic detail that does not influence the wood structure nor affect the sound. It is an exclusive piece, rare to see on today’s market due to its wood combination, this guitar is also suitable for professional use as it is a fully solid instrument.

I deliver it with a new, unused rigid foam case.
