Fasan (Franz Sandner) guitar from the early 1950s, in good physical condition and tested to be functional, weighing 3 kg with no extras.
Description from the seller
Beautiful Fasan guitar.
Fasan was a legendary vintage guitar brand from the German guitar builder Franz Sandner (born 1903). The guitars were built from the early 1950s in Nauheim, Germany and are known for their excellent handmade quality and iconic, somewhat extravagant designs. Because production in the artisanal workshop was relatively small-scale, many models are very rare. Therefore Fasan guitars are sought-after collectibles.
This Fasan is virtually entirely original. Gorgeous 'Blackrose' high-gloss finish, finely decorated binding and refined side panels with layers of wood in different colors. The back is also equipped with a white binding. New mother-of-pearl knobs, the tuners themselves are original.
The guitar shows some cosmetic wear and aging signs, which is to be expected for an instrument of this age; after all the guitar is more than 65 years old.
Equipped with new Django Jazz strings and well playable
