BLACH (Maxime Blachère, 1980) signs by hand a 90 x 60 cm giclée on canvas, titled New York Looney Toons, edition 26/30, produced in 2023, in a street art style with a pop culture theme.
Description from the seller
éVandal is color NEW YORK – LOONEY TOONS" is a visual explosion, a frontal clash between the ultimate urban icon and the most wild cartoon imagery.
We instantly recognize Times Square, but it is completely derailed: facades, giant screens and even street furniture are covered with graffiti, tags, and Looney Tunes characters. Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Taz or the Road Runner spring up everywhere, as if they had taken possession of the city. The billboards become wild frescoes, saturated with colors, street-art typography, and pop references.
The result is a hallucinatory, funny, chaotic and vibrant New York, where childhood meets the street, and where the global city becomes a gigantic wall of free expression. A painting that does not seek calm, but visual impact, humor, and accepted saturation.
