Article: WATERMAN'S IDEAL fountain pen, olive green/pearl gray striated celluloid, clip and cap ring in silver-colored metal, lever filler side.
Length: 12.5 cm
Diameter: 1.1 cm
Nib: M
Period: 1940s
Materials: Body and cap in striated olive green celluloid with pearlescent veining, black ebonite section, clip engraved "WATERMAN'S" and cap ring in silver-colored metal, 14k gold nib with inscription "WATERMAN'S IDEAL 14 KT"
Condition: Good condition for its age. The celluloid retains its shine and the striated pattern, with signs of use, fine superficial scratches and the natural darkening of the material over the years; the cap shows the engraving "WATERMAN'S" still legible though worn. The clip and the ring show loss of shine in the plating and small marks. The gold nib is intact and well aligned. Vintage piece not serviced: it is recommended to replace the filling sac before using it with ink.
Accessories: Only the loose piece; box or papers not visible in the photos.
