An exquisite, highly complete collector's set consisting of four quality vintage tobacco pipes, elegantly presented in a matching black wooden stand. The rack on the side features a functional, integrated three-piece metal pipe tamper/tool. The absolute highlights of this collection are the two iconic Danish design pipes, designed by the legendary master pipe maker Sixten Ivarsson:
1. Stanwell ‘Royal Briar’ (Model 156) – Denmark: A stunning handmade Danish classic. This pipe is distinguished by the deep, expressive flame grain in the wood, the double inlaid rings around the bowl, and the crowned Stanwell logo ('S') on the mouthpiece. Fully stamped with "Stanwell Royal Briar", "Made in Denmark" and model number "156".
2. Stanwell ‘Royal Prince’ (Model 29) – Denmark: A beautiful and elegantly streamlined Ivarsson design with a gorgeous, refined wood grain. The mouthpiece features the original gold/white crowned 'S' logo. Fully stamped with "Stanwell Royal Prince", "Made in Denmark" and model number "29".
3. Jeantet ‘De Luxe’ – France: From the famous French pipe town Saint-Claude. This model has a very elegant form with a lovely, warm grain and the distinctive Jeantet 'J' logo inlaid on the mouthpiece. Fully stamped with "Jeantet De Luxe".
The set is completed by a fourth fine vintage briar smoking pipe that perfectly matches the stand in style and color.
