Gianni Bertini (Pisa 1922 – Caen 2010) – “Untitled”, 1961

Mixed media on paper, 27 x 21 cm. Work signed and dated at the bottom right (“Bertini 61”).

A piece from 1961, from Bertini's informal and gestural phase, just before the Mec-Art period in which he would become one of its protagonists. Black composition with a rapid and tactile gesture, with ink washes and graphic marks.

Accompanied by an authentication certificate issued by the Associazione Gianni Bertini of Milan, signed by the president Thierry Bertini (29.01.2018), with a photo of the work. Reference code: 20814 atv.

Conditions: work in original condition, framed. The paper shows creases, visible also in the photo reported on the certificate of authenticity. The frame shows slight signs of wear.
