Montblanc - StarWalker Black Mystery - Fountain pen

We present at auction a masterpiece of contemporary design and technical innovation signed Montblanc: the extraordinary fountain pen from the StarWalker line, in the refined Black Mystery model. This writing instrument embodies the most modern and cutting-edge spirit of the maison, uniting the traditional elegance of the brand with an aesthetic of strong visual impact.

The body and cap are masterfully crafted in precious black resin, adorned with a complex laser engraving that creates a fascinating and deep linear geometric pattern. This texturing offers a magnificent visual and tactile contrast with the bright platinum-plated finishes, including a slender-profile clip and the grip section. Dominating the silhouette of the piece, as an unmistakable signature of the collection, is the iconic transparent dome atop the cap, inside which the pure white Montblanc star gracefully floats.

From a technical standpoint, the instrument is configured as a fountain pen. The beating heart of this pen is its splendid rhodium-plated nib, characterized by a clean, modern, and aerodynamic design. Close-up shots confirm the flawless cleanliness and total integrity of both the nib itself and the underneath feed, guaranteeing a smooth and precise writing experience.

The condition of this exemplar is to be considered in excellent overall condition. The engraved body is solid and intact, while the metal parts retain a magnificent mirror-like shine. In line with our usual and rigorous policy of total transparency, only microscopic and physiological signs of handling (entirely typical for the glossy platinum finishes) are reported due to extremely careful use, which do not in any way compromise the extraordinary aesthetic performance or the piece’s perfect functionality. No personalized engravings on the body or clip are present.
