Description from the seller
Vintage Waterman C/F French parure with a 14-carat gold nib and original case
Elegant Waterman C/F parure of French production, dating from the 1950s-60s, consisting of a fountain pen with a 14-carat gold nib and a refined coordinated ballpoint pen. A fascinating example of Waterman design from mid-twentieth century, characterized by slender lines, harmonious proportions, and great elegance.
Both instruments feature glossy black resin barrels and splendid gold-plated caps, adorned with a fine longitudinal grooving pattern and the characteristic Waterman clip. The fountain pen carries the distinctive semi-embedded 14K gold nib and adopts the famous C/F cartridge feeding system, one of the innovations that contributed to the modern history of writing instruments.
The parure is accompanied by its elegant vintage Waterman box, olive green velvet-lined with gold-toned fittings and a satin-finished inner; signed. Completing the set are the Waterman identity card and the original French-language instruction booklet, details that enrich the charm and collecting interest of the ensemble.
A refined testament to Waterman tradition, capable of uniting the pleasure of writing, timeless elegance, and the allure of fine writing instruments from the twentieth century.
The pens are presented in excellent condition both aesthetically and functionally: the fountain pen tested and working, the ballpoint pen fully functional and requiring a refill for writing.
Tracked shipping and carefully packed; low-cost couriers will not be used.
