Motorola V3i purple - Mobile phone - With replacement box

New and unused Motorola v3i with original accessories

The Motorola RAZR V3i is an iconic flip phone that was released in November 2005. It is the direct and improved successor to the wildly popular, ultrathin Motorola RAZR V3 from 2004.

The V3i retained the recognizable, slim design of anodized aluminum and the illuminated metallic keypad, but brought a number of much-needed technical upgrades.

The main upgrades vs. the original V3
Expandable memory: The biggest improvement was the addition of a microSD card slot. Whereas the original V3 was constrained to a cramped 5.5 MB of storage, you could insert memory cards into the V3i (back then up to 512 MB) to store music and photos.
Better camera: The camera was upgraded from a simple VGA resolution (0.3 megapixels) to a 1.23-megapixel camera that could also record short videos.
Music and iTunes: Motorola released at the time a special version of the V3i that was compatible with Apple iTunes. This allowed you to transfer up to about 50 or 100 songs to the phone via your computer, a unique collaboration in the era before the iPhone.
