Maita - Collezione Filosofi: Cicerone | Edizione Limitata a 199 esemplari in resina italiana - Fountain pen

▐ Collection of Pens dedicated to Cicerone

Maita is proud to present a unique and limited collection of high-quality pens, designed to celebrate the intellectual and moral heritage of one of history's greatest philosophers: Cicero. This exclusive series comprises only 199 pieces, making each pen a true collectible object, a symbol of culture and refinement.
The pens are made in precious Italian Porpora resin, a choice that is not incidental: the color is traditionally associated with nobility, power, and authority, reflecting his role as a political figure and prominent orator in ancient Rome. The Italian resin also guarantees excellent quality, with an elegant and durable finish.
The pen design is enriched with details that amplify its symbolic and philosophical value:
- The pen clip reproduces one of philosophy’s universal symbols, a direct reference to wisdom and critical thinking that have spanned the centuries.
- On the body of the pen, a metal ring is finely engraved with Cicero’s profile on the front, a visual homage to the philosopher himself. On the back of the ring, his famous motto is inscribed: “History is the teacher of life,” underscoring how knowledge of the past is essential to understanding the present and guiding future actions.
- Set into the summit of the cap, a small coin depicts an owl, an ancient symbol of philosophy and wisdom, recognized as such by Hegel in the nineteenth century. This detail gives the pen an additional touch of cultural and historical depth.
This collection is not only a writing instrument, but a true tribute to philosophy and its timeless teachings.
