Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Amerigo Vespucci Collection
This collection pays homage to the training ship Amerigo Vespucci. It is a limited edition of 188 pieces. The pen body consists of a 925 silver band on which the ship’s profile is reproduced in relief. Completing the body is a series of rings in wood, celluloid, resin and a 925 silver ring with the ship’s emblems in relief. The cap is composed of a series of rings in resin, wood, celluloid and silver enriched with small brass portholes. The ring echoes the inscription “Amerigo Vespucci” in relief around the ship. The clip in 925 silver is shaped like a sail, on which is set a piece of original canvas from the ship. The 925 silver head/finial is decorated with the laurels of the Italian Navy.
