AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present the Marlen Dante Collection: Paradiso
Marlen celebrates the seven hundredth anniversary of Dante Alighieri's death with a series of writing instruments dedicated to the great poet, regarded by many as the father of the Italian language. A homage to his Divine Comedy, the highest expression of art in the history of Italian literature.
Three limited editions dedicated to the three Dantean Canticles (Paradiso, Purgatorio and Inferno) and a prestigious set (always in limited edition) that gathers the three collections into a single case (Divine Comedy).
A series of writing instruments with a strongly intriguing and surprising character. The prestige of an unrepeatable and unique work of universal literature is interpreted and translated by Marlen design.
The cap is made (from the top): wooden ring on which a silver coin depicting Dante’s portrait is inset; small silver ring; large ivory-effect mother-of-pearl resin band; Empire silver-engraved ring; ivory-effect mother-of-pearl resin ring.
The clip on a silver base portrays Dante’s supposed dagger (bronze) housed at the Museo Casa Di Dante.
The pen body is made (from the top): knob in ivory-effect mother-of-pearl resin; silver ring; wooden band; silver ring; ivory-effect mother-of-pearl resin ring; large silver band depicting the Heavens in which Paradiso is divided; nib in ivory-effect mother-of-pearl resin.
