Marlen Pens presents the Aderl - numbered edition in precious Italian resin and silver, a fountain pen.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
We present to you the Marlen Aderl collection.
Atella, an ancient city of Campania halfway between Capua and Naples, stood on a natural terrace, largely within today’s Sant'Arpino (where Marlen has its headquarters, production, and showroom), and kept its own administrative autonomy by minting its own coins bearing the inscription ADERL.
In Atella, Marlen dedicates this numbered edition, made in light brown Italian resin, with silver and metal details. The cap, however, is in black resin with multicolor bands. The silver 925 band bears the Latin inscription “ORDO POPULUSQUE ATELLANUS” in relief on the top/bottom. The clip depicts the profile of Maccus, one of the most important figures of the Fabulae Atellane, an ancient Roman farce with fixed masks (e.g. Buccus, Dossennus, Maccus, Pappus, ...) and a coarse spirit.
