Description from the seller
Aquarium (1st Prize winner of the Epson France contest ("Water")) Exhibited at the Paris Photo Salon (France)
The human face seems suspended between two worlds.
Captured in a delicate profile, this photograph reveals the sculptural beauty of a female face, exalted by intense makeup and deep red lips. The reflections of water, bubbles and shades of green and blue create a hypnotic, almost unreal atmosphere, where the boundary between the human world and the aquatic universe fades.
Poetic, cinematic and enigmatic, this work invites contemplation and evokes the fragility of our relationship with the natural elements. The contrast between the softness of the face and the deep, dark depth of the water gives the image a strong and timeless visual presence.
