AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
COMMODORE SX-64 EXECUTIVE — COLOR CRT MONITOR VINTAGE COMPUTER
first portable computer in history available for sale, equipped with color display. Commodore from the Eighties with integrated color CRT monitor, 5.25-inch floppy drive and removable keyboard.
Conditions and tests performed
The computer powers up regularly and the color CRT monitor shows the BASIC screen, as documented by the attached real photographs.
Keyboard response to typing has been verified; a full check of all keys has not been performed.
IMPORTANT: 5.25-inch floppy drive NOT TESTED. I do not guarantee the operation of the floppy drive nor of other untested ports or functions.
On the screen appears the message «COMMODORE 64 BASIC V2» (instead of the classic SX-64 startup). I have not checked whether the ROM has been replaced or modified; the circumstance is visible in the photographs.
The inscription «SYNTAX ERROR» in the photos appears after entering an invalid BASIC command: it is not a fault diagnosis.
Aesthetic conditions
Vintage item with signs of use and age. The keyboard bezel has a crack in the upper left corner and there is visible wear, superficial dirt and yellowing of the keys. Signs also on the outer case. Please study all photos carefully, including the details of the defects.
Contents
Includes the computer, the removable keyboard and the related connecting cable as shown. Disks, software and other accessories not photographed are not declared included. For the power cable please confirm before purchase.
