Description from the seller
"Pride in Porcelain" is a still life created in the studio of photographer Ursula van de Bunte. It is a print on Fine Art paper and finished with matte acrylic. The size of the image is 24x24 cm and it is the first edition of 12 copies. The image is framed in a heavy wooden frame without glass. The overall size is 41x41 cm. The work is packed and shipped with care.
In Van de Bunte's still lifes, everyday objects take on a new role. They are released from utility and use and appear as pure forms: still, present, almost vulnerable. Through the soft light, the austere composition and the attention to skin, scale, glass and ceramics, a hushed world emerges in which time slows. The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries and at art fairs.
