Vintage brass set from India.
Description
Elegant vintage decorative set made of brass, consisting of two candle holders and a mortar with its pestle.
The two candle holders, dated approximately to the 1950s–1960s, feature an attractive high-footed design, with pierced cups decorated with small heart-shaped motifs. Their sleek and original design gives them a distinctive decorative character.
The mortar, made in India, is also crafted in brass and features rich relief decoration around the body. It is accompanied by its original pestle hand.
Approximate measurements:
* Candle holders: 17 cm in height and 6 cm in diameter each.
* Mortar: 10 cm in height and 10 cm in diameter.
* Pestle: 20 cm in length.
The items show normal signs of use, small marks, patina and wear typical of their age, which are part of their vintage character.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and show in detail the condition of the lot.
