Marco Valeri (1951) - Sul lago di Como

Marco Valeri (Rome, 1951), Italian painter, sculptor and draftsman. He paints exclusively with a spatula in oil. He has held solo and group exhibitions, has received several acknowledgments, and some art critics have written about him.
"Sul lago di Como", oil on canvas, 2005. View of a village perched on the lake, with the white bell tower and the church dominating the houses with red-tiled roofs, boats moored on the shore, and green hills in the background. The sky and the water, in deep blue tones, are built with the spatula, with strong tactile thickness and reflections.
Signature: oil-on-canvas signature in the lower left.
On the back: certificate of guarantee "original oil painting" with title, year, size, signature and artist’s stamps ("Marco Valeri – painter, sculptor, draftsman – Rome"). On the canvas is also the autograph declaration "This painting was executed by me", signed and dated 2005.

Sold with a gold frame, fabric matting and protective glass

Provenance: private collection, Rome.
Conditions: excellent. Color intact, with no pigment loss or cracks. On the back, normal signs of aging on the frame’s backing card.
