Aurora 98 fountain pen with a 14k gold nib, gold-plated black resin body, Italian origin, from the mid‑20th century, in near mint condition and in working order.
Description from the seller
Aurora 98 Vintage – Black & Gold – 14k gold nib
Elegant Aurora 98, refined example of the Italian Aurora design from the second half of the twentieth century, characterized by the unmistakable combination of a satin-black body and a cap with a crafted gold finish.
The pen features an extremely clean and tapered silhouette, typical of the 98 series, with a sober yet highly refined aesthetic. The contrast between the deep black of the shaft and the warm gold tone of the cap is particularly beautiful.
On the cap band the “AURORA” signature is clearly visible, while the clip preserves the classic and elegant design of the Turin-based Maison.
The specimen is in nearly perfect condition, with the black body very well preserved and free from significant defects. The cap retains its original finish and shows a few small marks that attest to its vintage charm
A particularly elegant example from Aurora’s historic production, ideal both for daily use and for a collection of vintage Italian writing instruments.
