Description from the seller
Paseo después de la bajamar — V. Belsky
Oil on canvas adhered to cardboard, signed in Cyrillic in the lower right corner. A work from the second half of the 20th century, attributed to Vladimir Belsky (born in Kiev in 1949).
Coastal scene with an impressionist treatment, featuring pedestrians and parasols on the beach revealed by the low tide, small boats and a sailboat in the background. The loose brushwork and the reflections on the wet sand combine blues, purples, ochers and yellows under a broad bright sky.
On the reverse there is a handwritten inscription in Russian with the name "V. Belsky", the title "Paseo después de la bajamar", the technique and the measurements. It also bears a seal from the USSR Ministry of Culture authorizing export from the country. It is presented with an ornate gold frame.

Approximate dimensions:
- With frame: 53 × 36 cm.
