Yoshi Takahashi (1943-1998) - Salzburg

Yoshi Takahashi (1943–1998) – “Salzburg” – Original color etching, hand-signed & numbered (E.A.) – Framed by the Goyert art gallery
Description:
Presented is a beautiful, original color etching by the internationally acclaimed Japanese-German artist Yoshi Takahashi (1943–1998) titled “Salzburg.”
Takahashi is known for his finely composed, poetically abstract color etchings and aquatints. He had a deep biographical connection to this city, as he taught for many years at the International Summer Academy for Visual Arts in Salzburg.
Artist: Yoshi Takahashi (1943–1998)
Title: “Salzburg”
Technique: Original color etching on paper
Signature: Signed by the artist at the bottom and numbered or marked as Artist’s Proof (E.A. / Épreuve d’Artiste)
The print itself measures approximately 35x30 cm.

Condition: Age-appropriate condition. There are color splashes in the image and on the white border. They could be foxing spots, but may also be intentional splashes. In my view they do not detract but instead appear harmonious.
Photos are part of the condition description.
Framing & Provenance: High-quality framed behind glass with a mat. On the reverse is the original gallery label from the traditional and renowned (former) Goyert KG art gallery from Cologne (Hahnenstraße 18, near Hahnentor).
A wonderful, collectible piece for lovers of contemporary print graphics.
Shipping: The shipment is conducted professionally and securely packaged.
