Under Her Wings, a nature photograph by Tristan Mottier, produced in 2026 as edition 2/30, signed by hand, 60 cm by 40 cm, in excellent condition.
Description from the seller
Under a heavy, almost unreal sky, two silhouettes advance through a barren landscape. A mother and her child. She stands behind him, immense, silent, ears spread like a rampart.
Under Her Wings speaks of that invisible force that protects us when the world becomes hostile. Of the instinct that pushes us to place ourselves between danger and those we love. The cracked earth, the mountains lost in the mist, and the thunderstorm that seems to approach give the scene an almost timeless dimension: it could belong to today as much as to a vanished world.
Black and white erase reference points and keep only the essential: the material, the gazes, the vulnerability and the protection.
Yet a mystery remains.
What is this mother protecting her child from?
From the coming storm? From the land that is dying? Or simply from the world that awaits him?
