Le Yack, Afternoon Suit, Paris Window - Hand signed, a 40 × 40 cm giclée on canvas in a limited edition of 20, hand signed by the artist, with a certificate of authenticity, produced in France and ready to hang.
Description from the seller
Standing beside a tall window, a woman in a black suit, her hair in a loose bun, hands in her pockets, looks out over the Paris rooftops under a blue sky. Light streams in in bands across the gray wall and the parquet floor. In the living room, a red sofa, a black marble fireplace, and a lacquered coffee table complete the space.
The painting has the sharpness of an interior photograph, with the distance of a Hopper painting: she is in the room, but already turned toward the city. One thinks of Degas and Caillebotte portraits, where a solitary figure faces the window.
An afternoon in Paris, clear and restrained, where the decision waits on the edge of the balcony.
