“La Danse” (The Dance / Female Nude)

The sculpture “La Danse” is a well-known work by the German sculptor Marco Piono (born 1959) from the year 1997.

Series: “Les beaux arts design” (Edition number 7)
Bronze with patina (gold-, bronze- or brown-colored), mounted on a small granite base.
The sculpture originally often served as a stopper or part of a perfume bottle (“Les Beaux Arts Parfum”).
The work is limited (5,000 copies) and signed and numbered in the casting.
The pure figure is about 12 cm high (with the base usually around 16 cm).
