AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from a collection.
Signed by hand by contemporary artist Irene Caligo and with gallery stamp.
Title: Flashes of orange light
Measurements: 70x55 cm
Year: 2025
Irene Caligo is a contemporary painter who explores the human figure as a space of emotional tension and suspension. Her works unite references to the European figurative tradition with a contemporary chromatic sensibility, through layerings of color, fragmentation of form, and material interventions. Faces and hands become central elements of a research that investigates the boundary between presence and dissolution, creating intimate and silent images open to the spectator's interpretation.
