AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Claudio Rolfi, born in Genoa in 1960. From his early works you can already notice the great fascination that Italian art of the 20th century was able to exert on him, with masters such as Casorati, Morandi, Carrà and de Chirico. In his forty-year artistic career there are more than seventy solo exhibitions and countless artistic events, including TV programs dedicated entirely to him. The Maestro Rolfi's work has been discussed by the most important newspapers and television and radio stations. Among the most notable events is the grand exhibition Centoeventigiorni held at Santa Maria degli Angeli, Rome, in 2002, inaugurated in the presence of Mrs. Franca Ciampi and Walter Veltroni; the exhibition at the Dopmiziano Museum in Rome; the solo show at Mondadori in Milan; the exhibition at the Palace of Culture in Reggio Calabria; and the BAM Baveno Arte Maggiore presented by Vittorio Sgarbi. The Maestro’s paintings have been used for about 6 years as set designs for the GEO program on Rai 3.

His works are present in many Italian collections, in the United States, Japan, Canada and throughout the rest of Europe.
