The gaze dives into water clear with intense shades of azure blue and turquoise, caressing light-colored rocks sculpted in the material. On the rocky coast, splendid parasol pines with vibrant green foliage rise toward a deep night sky, speckled with fine stars and traversed by the graceful flight of seabirds. A poetic, contrasted and deeply captivating composition.

The Technique: The work is executed in acrylic, with brush and painting knife on marouflaged canvas on wood panel. The subtle combination of brush for the atmospheric blends of the night sky and the knife for generous texture gives a unique liveliness to the canvas. Impasto strokes vigorously sculpt the relief of the rocks, the texture of the parasol pines, and the crystalline transparency of the waves.
