Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from a collection.
Hand-signed by the contemporary artist Sovrek and stamped by the Gallery.
Title: Expressionist Duality
Dimensions: 70x55 cm
Year: 2025
Sovrek is a contemporary artist who investigates the human face as an emotional and symbolic space. Through layered and vibrant painting, his figures emerge from chromatic fragmentations that dissolve traditional identity to reveal deeper inner states. Color becomes narrative material, able to transform the figure into a psychological presence rather than a representation. Sovrek's works sit in a dialogue between figuration and abstraction, where the heritage of classical painting meets a contemporary sensibility, creating images suspended between tension, vulnerability and introspection.

In person, works of art are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
