Description from the seller
Oil painting on canvas from a collection, large in size.

Title: The Allure of Anonymity
Dimensions: 70x55 cm
Year: 2026
Mara Solène (1982) is a painter who primarily works with oil painting. Her research explores the human figure as a space of relation between identity, presence, and perception. Her works feature figures suspended between reality and imagination, with simplified forms and faces that move away from realistic portraiture to become expressive instruments. At the heart of her work is the relationship between figures: gaze, distance, and the silent tension that builds within the painting’s space. Her practice moves between figuration and distortion, in a minimalist search where identity remains open and in constant transformation.
NB: The artwork will be shipped inside a sturdy tube suitable for shipping. The colors of the painting may differ slightly from the photos due to screen settings. In person, artworks are more beautiful than in photography: one can appreciate the hypnotic beauty of the oil colors coming to life on the canvas.
Worldwide shipping via UPS courier.
