AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Paolo Contin
Beyond the borders of light
" An intense dialogue between warm and cold colors gives life to an abstract composition rich in energy and movement. Red and orange intertwine with the depths of blue while luminous shades open spaces of breath. The shapes meet and transform evoking suggestions and emotions that each person can interpret freely. A contemporary work of strong visual impact capable of conveying vitality, balance and harmony "

PAOLO CONTIN has developed a personal artistic path for over twenty-five years and is in constant evolution. Trained in design and active since 1980 in the fashion world, he transfers to painting a particular sensitivity to color, form and compositional balance.

Since 1999 he has exhibited his works and in 2002 he held his first solo show in Padua. Followed by numerous exhibitions in Italy and abroad with presence in Copenhagen, Munich, Paris, Brussels, Istanbul, Buenos Aires and Sydney.

Paolo Contin's artistic path is also documented by the presence in the Mondadori Art Catalog with related valuations. Over the years his works have also been published in the Arte Mondadori magazine and in numerous catalogs and volumes produced for solo exhibitions and major Art Fairs, some of which published with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture.

He was also among the founding members of " Tostart ", an artistic association born from the meeting of ten Veneto artists and active until the period of the Pandemic.

The eclectic and independent artist Contin has built over the years a recognizable language, far from belonging to a single school and tendency. His research traverses geometric abstraction, material and gestural painting, alternating rigor and expressive freedom. Lines, fields, geometric shapes and intense chromatic relationships become elements of a vocabulary through which he investigates balance, movement and emotion.

Experimentation also extends to sculpture and wood, with works built through the stacking of geometric elements, confirming a research that goes beyond the boundaries of painting alone.
His work continues today to evolve without predefined formulas: every work is born from the will to preserve freedom, identity and expressive authenticity.
