Marlen - Imperium Romanum - Edizione Limitata di 295 esemplari in Resina italiana, Argento, Ottone, Legno - Roller ball pen

We present the Marlen Imperium Romanum Collection
A pen born to celebrate an empire, a culture that is the foundation of today’s Western civilization: the Roman Empire, established in the euro-Mediterranean area between the 1st century BC and the 4th century AD, is considered the greatest in terms of management and quality of territory, of socio-political organization and of the significance of the mark left in human history. In all the territories across which they extended their borders the Romans built cities, roads, bridges, aqueducts, exporting their model of civilization everywhere while at the same time assimilating the subject populations and civilizations. After the empire ended, these people continued to define themselves as Romans.

- The cap is made of precious spotted red resin with brass rings. The wide silver band bears the two dates that generally identify the beginning and end of a single statal entity (27 BC - 395 AD) and the abbreviation SPQR, common on late medieval Roman Senate coins (and currently appears in the municipal coat of arms of Rome). On the brass head there is a resin disk on which the Marlen logo in silver is prominently displayed.
- The clip in the shape of a sword is in 925 silver on which a small hand-made wooden section is inset.
- The body of the pen consists of a band in 925 silver on which the bust of Augustus, the eagle symbol of imperial power, and the map of the Roman Empire are reproduced in relief on the top/bottom. Completing the body are a series of brass rings and spotted red resin alternated.
