Description from the seller
Rare Macintosh Portable M5120 tested & Working with original bag
It was the first Apple Macintosh laptop, introduced in 1989.
This is the non-backlit M5120 version.
Italian QZERTY keyboard
2 MB of RAM
The computer has been completely refurbished. The logic board has been recapped, the original power supply has been recapped, and the floppy drive has been cleaned.
The battery pack was exhausted, so it has been replaced with a new lead-acid battery installed in the original battery case.
The original hard drive was not working, so it has been replaced with a modern BlueSCSI V2 WiFi card, containing two disk partitions with Italian System 7.0.1 and System 6.0.7.
Complete with original carrying bag.
A rare, working collector’s item.
Defects: As shown in the photos, there is a small chip in one corner of the keyboard bezel.
One of the two display mounts has partially detached at the top. I think it could be glued back with a little patience; however, even with this issue, the display opens and closes without problems and remains firmly attached to the frame.
Given its age, no warranty; returns are not accepted.
