Description from the seller
This magnificent guitar bears the mark of the prestigious Manuel Rodríguez firm, internationally renowned for its artisanal tradition and mastery in guitar-building since 1905. Founded in Madrid and closely tied to the history of Spanish luthiery, the brand has deep historical roots; in fact, Manuel Rodríguez the elder trained and worked alongside legendary figures such as the José Ramírez workshops, absorbing the knowledge and art of the traditional Madrid school. This particular example was made in Europe (Spain) approximately between 2010 and 2015, during a period of excellent maturity and artisanal care from the house. 09
It is a 100% solid noble woods instrument, ensuring that the wood will continue to age, improve, and open up its voice over the years.
Top: Built from solid German spruce, a refined choice that provides an immediate acoustic response and strong projection.
Back and sides (bouts): Crafted from solid European flame maple, with stunning visual beauty and a wavy grain, a wood that gives the instrument a strong visual personality.
Neck and fretboard: The neck is built from highly stable Spanish cedar, featuring an elegant central ebony reinforcement stripe. The fretboard is also solid Gabon ebony, the highest density and durability, ensuring a smooth and professional feel.
Thanks to the combination of German spruce with flame maple, this guitar delivers a powerful, clean, and bright sound, with excellent note separation and enviable clarity. The instrument is generally in excellent condition, very well cared for.
Condition note: It presents a small superficial blemish on the lower part of the top (visible in the photos) that only affects the finish; it is a merely aesthetic detail that does not influence the wood structure or sound in any way. It is an exclusive piece, rare on the market today due to its wood combination, and this guitar is also suitable for professional use as it is built entirely with solid woods.
I’m including it with a new, unused rigid foam case.
